
At Hot Springs Village it was decided to set a firm date and location for next year's reunion. At first it was thought of Columbus Ohio but looking into what the Dayton Ohio area has to offer we decided to move to Dayton. The Date will be Sept. 16th. Below is what is planed for now more info will follow, that will give more insight to the Dayton Area.
Also we have chosen the "Ramada Inn Plaza" as our primary hotel it is very close to the National Air Force Museum.

Reunion 2010
Journey to Dayton the Birthplace of Aviation for our third reunion Sept 16-17. Below we have a list of events some items still need to be finalized and those attending will be kept informed of changing plans. Note signing up early is highly recommended motel space is filling up rapidly, even for a date this far in advance. At the Air Force Museum there are no less than 6 reunions scheduled for that weekend.
Sept. 16 Activities
9 -5 Tour the National Air Force Museum Free Admission and Lunch on your own at the Cafe in Museum. We will setup a group photo there. In all there are over 300 aircraft & missiles on display in a area that covers over 17 acres of exhibits.
5- ? We will be doing a dinner get-together at the American Legion Beavercreek Memorial Post # 763. They do a steak fry about 20 times a year that is very well attended and for those that want something lighter a chicken breast will be offered. Post address is 3200 Dayton Xenia Rd. ¨ The Citizens MotorCar Company America's Packard Museum housed in a fully restored 1930's dealership featured collection of vintage Packard motorcars. Displays do change regularly open weekdays Noon to 5pm and 1-5pm on weekends. Admission for adults is $6.00 address is 420 S. Ludlow St.
¨ The Wright Cycle Co. Complex A visit to Dayton is not complete without touring the actual site where Wilbur and Orville Wright developed their ideas.
¨ Carillon Historical Park Visit a unique historical museum complex of 25 buildings situated on a 65 acre site. Connecting tour of the Wright Brothers Hawthorn Hill estate built by Orville where he lived till his death in 1948. Address is 1000 Carillon Ave open Monday to Saturday from 9:30 to 5:00
¨ Huffman prairie Flying Field Interpretive Center The center focus is on the Wright's experimental flights at the Huffman Prairie Flying Field in 1904 and 1905 and the brothers flying school from 1910 to 1916. Also covered the history of Wright Patterson AFB. Hours are 8:30 to 6:00 located on Kaufman Ave. near the Route 444 intersection.
¨ Huffman Prairie Flying Field The actual location the Wright's continued the development of their invention after the first flight at Kitty Hawk. The field remains much as it was when the Wright's used it for their development of aviation.
¨ WACO Field and Museum Waco dominated the civilian airplane market from the mid 1920's up till WWII Open Saturdays and Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 pm located at 1865S Co. Rd. 25a Troy OH.
¨ SunWatch Indian Village Archaeological Park The park is a partially reconstructed Fort Ancient period Native American village open Tuesdays through Saturdays from 9:00 to 5:00 located at 2301 West River Rd.
¨ Patterson Homestead Restored 1816 Federal-style farmhouse and gardens of Colonel Robert Patterson a Revolutionary War Veteran and founding father of Lexington KY. His grandsons formed "The National Cash Register Co NCR" in Dayton open Thursday through Saturday 10:00 to 4:00
